Bruce Palmer
Cruisin' Bruce is on The Pike!!!!
“Cruisin” Bruce Palmer is a native of suburban Philly and a Penn State alumnus. He’s spent over 25 years on-the-air from PA to CT, RI and now..Massachusetts (including the last 4 years right here in Worcester).
The Palmer home is buried in the woods off 395 on the RI-CT state line where Bruce lives the rural life with his wife of 22 years (Donna), their daughters Samantha & Stephanie and a house full of pets. "What you hear is what you get," as you'd find CruisinBruce to be the everyday guy-next-door he seems on the air. His personal passion is obvious with a garage full of 7 antique cars, including 3 station wagons, an old pickup and his "pride-and-joy" 1969 Torino GT fastback. When he’s not broadcasting? You’ll probably find his head under a hood somewhere..or look for him out “Cruisin” his favorite country roads.
Besides his cars and family life, Bruce bowls weakly and golfs even worse, but that doesn‘t stop him. He's also a huge baseball fan and avid music collector (with more than 45,000 titles in his home record vault). Frequently, he draws from that vast collection for his on-air shows.
Oh, and ask him about the classic film “It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World.” He’s seen it over 75 times!
